Defined Functions:
  • Assist the Mayor in planning and implementing a comprehensive and balance municipal personnel and career development program.
  • Provides personnel services to all offices of the municipality.
  • Assist the municipal mayor and other municipal officials on the formulation and execution of personnel policies, rules and regulations.
  • Helps enforce civil service law, rules and regulations as regards personnel actions, performance standards and evaluation, benefits and personnel discipline.
  • Provide support and participation in the programs and activities of the civil service commission and council of personnel officers; and
  • Maintains liaison with the civil service commission, DBM, DOLE and other agencies as regard personnel matters.
