Defined Functions:

  1. Assist the Mayor in planning and implementing a comprehensive and balance municipal personnel and career development program.


  1. Provides personnel services to all offices of the municipality.


  1. Assist the municipal mayor and other municipal officials on the formulation and execution of personnel policies, rules and regulations.


  1. Helps enforce civil service law, rules and regulations as regards personnel actions, performance standards and evaluation, benefits and personnel discipline.


  1. Provide support and participation in the programs and activities of the civil service commission and council of personnel officers; and


  1. Maintains liaison with the civil service commission, DBM, DOLE and other agencies as regard personnel matters.
